Books of the Bible At-A-Glance

Books of the Bible At-a-Glance by Teach Sunday School has made an impact on our daily Bible reading and study time. They’ve been the perfect tool for opening up curiosity and intrigue for books (and sections of books) in the Bible that sometimes get skimmed over.

We were so pleased to be given the opportunity to review these helpful summary sheets. Our Bible studies may never be the same!

What we received.

The process was simple and easy. We received access to an instant PDF download. There’s the option of saving the file to your computer or printing out the At-A-Glance summary sheets.

Included are ALL 66 summary sheets; one for each book of the Bible. Each full page sheet includes important background information for that book of the Bible.

Such as:

Book Title
Book Number and Placement
Date Book Was Written
Time Period Covered
Claims to Fame
Famous Stories Included
Most Famous Verses
Important Point About That Particular Book

For instance, Genesis’ most famous verses are Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” and Genesis 1:27 “So God created human beings in His own imagein the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.”  And for claims to fame, Genesis ‘Is the first book of the Bible and covers the longest span of time: Over 2,000 years!’

There are several ways to use these summary sheets. They make the perfect companion for ANY Bible study or as a cheat sheet if you will.

How we used it and our final thoughts!

When you have the full background of what each book in the Bible is about, you have a better understanding of the lessons and messages throughout them. These Bible summary sheets can be used from the newest of Bible readers to the ones who’ve been reading the verses for ages.

Locating a particular person in the Bible is much easier and quicker when you can reference these sheets. Someone you are learning about may have been the author of an entire book or books. You can use these to study biblical timelines, important verses, the order of the books of the Bible, and so much more!

A powerful addition!

I own (and use) a study Bible, and even though I feel the Study Bible I use is very informative and helpful, I find these summary sheets to be a fantastic addition to our Bible reading and studies.

It may not seem like an important attribute, but the colors and simplicity of these Bible summary sheets are very pleasing to the eye and easy to follow.

Easy to print – At the time of this review we did not have a color printer. Because I am a pretty frugal and thrifty homeschool mom I thoroughly love our Brother Monochrome laser printer. Even though our copies had to be printed in back and white, they came out wonderfully! We printed ALL 66 sheets, front to back, laminated them, and bound them together by a ring.

Easy to use. Easy to reference. A must-have staple to your Bible studies. I am so glad we were given the opportunity to review these and I highly recommend them.

Out of the mouths of babes:

My youngest son’s (10) thoughts;

“They’re pretty cool. I like that you can see who wrote the books and stuff. I like using them in our Bible time.”

My oldest son’s (12) thoughts;

“They’re cool. Really neat idea, it makes kids wanna read the Bible and the info on the cards is cool. Good way to learn.”

My daughter’s (14) thoughts;

“I really like the concept! The cards are super informative and fun! My favorite part is probably the *most famous verses* section. It’s really interesting to see who wrote the books, too.

A great learning tool!
